DDRAM 2x1024MB vs 4x512MB (2GB)

Not that I'm getting 2gb of RAM, but I have to advice my friend.

But I dont know which method is better/faster etc.

all depends on the core, if u have s939 amd and venice core or above then the 4x512 will run somewhat faster. the timings will be tighter but it will run at 2T and some people say that that make difference over 1T but its really like just a 2-3% performance decrease over 1T. if u havea core before the venice then u may not be able to run 4 sticks of ram and if u can then the speed will only be able to run at 133mhz b/c of the crappy cpu memory controller.
