small request for an image.

i was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a quick alteration to an image for me. its to be placed in the sysdm.cpl as the logo but i cant seem to get the white bits around the edges to dissapear using transparency without losing the amount of colours. unforutnatley i dont know how to do 24 bit with 8 bit alpha transparency so if someone could kindly do it for me it would be much appreciated.

One suggestion i can give, is to download Paint .NET.

Then, open the image in it, and use the "Magic Wand" tool to select only the object alone and leave out the white space. And save it in exactly the format you want.
