July 30, 200521 yr HelloI have an 7-years old laser printer which is only usable on Win9X environment.the manufacturer of this printer went bankrupt before the release of WinXP so practically there's no winxp support.this printer is still in good condition so i'd like to have it around for more years to come if possibleIs there a way to use win9x driver on XP?

July 30, 200521 yr i dont think you can for drivers for software yes drivers not that iv heard ofone way you could do it is buy setting up another comp with win9x and sharing it over the network that should work

August 1, 200521 yr Whats the make/model of the printer???It maybe Laserjet III compatible in which case the standard Windows XP Laserjet III drivers will work.
August 1, 200521 yr If it's non color post script just use the microsoft text driver. It's also called general I think.
