It's basically the same thing, they use fiberoptics on each side of the suit to transmit the image of what is on one side to the other, making you virtually invisible. They showed a team of about 3 soldiers wearing these suits storming a house in a theoretical scenario. They even showed at the end of the clip how they were attempting to use the same technology to make a tank invisible.
