download Office Update Installation Engine

Has any one been able to download Office Update Installation Engine and slipstream using svcpack.inf. I can only assume it would be similar to Windows Update V6 method. Just need to fine file containing download Office Update Installation Engine and what switches for silent unattended install

Hum.. that would be interesting, I would install it at the same time I install Office 2003.

I would like to do this aswell.

When you install the Office Update Installation Engine it adds opuc.dll to windows directory.

And in the properties of the activx control there is a Link to a cab

Thats all i know at the moment.

place opuc.dll into the system32 folder and run regsvr32 on it.

to create a shortcut link here is the path:

and for the proper icon:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE11\MSOICONS.EXE

use the 10th icon you see (or whatever you prefer)

place opuc.dll into the system32 folder and run regsvr32 on it.

I just experimented around with it a little:

It belongs to %WINDIR%, not to system32. The recent version (12.0.3208.1003) can be found here.
