KamiQuazi Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I need some help learning how to encode to mpeg 4... does anyone know how?
Buccaneer Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 (edited) try and error is the best way to learn. It all depends on WHAT you want to encode.I prefer Nero Digital Mpeg4 it is great for encoding DVD movies and for TV capture. And it is easy to use as well.I don't like Divx and Xvid, they are to complicated.Afterdawn and Doom9 got some great guides.good luck Edited July 20, 2005 by Buccaneer
Jeremy Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 DivX sucks IMHO. XviD is a lot better. When I used to do AVI encodes of my DV footage, XviD gave me sharper image at lower bitrates than DivX. Anyway, www.videohelp.com has all the info you'd ever need.
