Stop Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Can Dell's Dimension 4700 motherboards (Intel's 915G) support both DDR1 SDRAM and DDR2 SDRAM? I have searched, but I only see that the Dimension 4700's motherboard only supports DDR2 SDRAM. While searching for a 915G motherboard it appears to state that it supports both types of memory.

Stop Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 ahh I didn't in my last post but I will now.915g has many variations and from photos and cracking my case open i figured out that it was one that only support ddr2 ram.
