hi, im not sure if its me or not, but there seems to be a strange problem in adding different themes

ive added a new theme into the theme folder and called it castle.

well when i try to switch the themes over through config it seems not all the theme switches over, it seems to keep the default buttons and images , title from the default theme

is any one else having this same problem ?

i know i could just simply over write the default theme by replacing it all together with my own theme

but is that really necessary ?

kel any ideals m8 ?

The problem is the file wpi.htm in the default themes dir.

Did you copy it and then replace the other files with yours?

Then open the wpi.htm with an editor. You will find very many entries like the following:

<img id="titleimg" src="./themes/Default/title.gif" border=0 align="center">

In every entry, the folder "Default" has to be changed into "Castle" as an example. I hope this helps.

thanks but i know extactly that the wpi.htm in the default directory is the problem,

but you see if its still trying to call to the wpi.htm in the themes default directory then that defeats the whole purpose of having multiple themes in your themes directory,, because point being if you have more then 1 theme that you like to switch back and forth to,, then your kinda stuck,, choosing, just 1 theme and delete the rest even the default contents

ive fixed this by simply replacing all the contents of the default theme folder with my own,, but thats not what i realy wanted to do.

i plan on making more themes and i wanted to swip swap them at any given time with out probs

but the real question still remains,,, why cant you have multiple themes now, with out any hiccups

You've got mail.

The problem was with the theme not wpi.

In the main theme wpi.htm it was still looking for stuff in the default theme folder you need to change all of the entries from themes\default\blah.gif to themes\castle\blah.gif.
