FortyTwo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Under Linux, to back up all my Bookmarks, emails and address book all I had to do was copy the Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird folders. then if I ever had to reinstall those apps I just copied the folders back to replace the new ones and voila my bookmarks, emails and address where back again.Question: Is it the same under Windows? (Do I just need to make a backup copy of the firefox and Thunderbird folders)
Ivanov Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 In Windows u must copy the folder, contains your profile:C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Application Data\MozillaandC:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Application Data\Thunderbird
mjc Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 I would suggest PortableFirebird and Bookmarks Synchronizer if you're going to be doing any serious amount of moving =)
