Desktop Icons at 48

Is there a way to display desktop icons at 48 or 64 size, leaving all other icons at 32?

you can try an application called "avedesk"

Have you tried right clicking on desktop/properties/appearance tab/advanced button. Its in the item pull down menu. Click on icon and change the size then ok apply.

you can use iconx software, desktop icons will have its own size, and you can also

use .png images as icons...

this program works good, u could also get Resource Tuner and extract whatever size image u want from the file
