here is a break down for u.

download the office shrink program from buckeye

reformat your computer

install only XP! and only xp no other applications

execute office shrink

it will ask u what language u use

then it will ask you the source of your office cd

* note you can only use office shrink on a Office 2003 Corp Edition

if you dont have one your out of luck.

* note you have to slipstream the updates before u use office shrink

it will tell you the target directory were the files will be sent.

after that your done!

* note: almost forgot you will also need to use MST

? :blink::wacko:

From the Office Resource Kit site: Only editions of Office 2003 acquired through a Volume License agreement or other non-retail channel allow you to create an administrative installation point. You cannot run Setup.exe in administrative mode ( /a ) with an Office 2003 retail edition. If you cannot make an Administrative Installation Point, you will not be able to slipstream the latest updates into it.

your from Lithuania correct

would u like to view a russian site? for more info?

well , is this only possible on a clean install , can't i just uninstall office then follow the method ? ...... it seems so cuz that is what i have been with

1- i created an administrative setup point on my computer

2- i used Custom installation wizard with office resource kit and selected the apps i want them to stay in the source , speciefed the target directory of the new source , then shrinkage began its process , then it was all done

3- i RARed the new source "c:\office" then made the command to run after unrar process "C:\office\SETUP.EXE TRANSFORMS=mtz.mst /qb-" then .... when i used that RARSFX setup began , reached the half , then then rolled back .....................
