lol , so nice and quick answer , in less than a minute THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS

discard the winnt.bat, it won't be used on an unattended boot cd install. winnt.sif would be enuf.

My winnt keeps saving as a text file. How can I get it to be an .sif file?

?????????, Ok maybe im more ignorant than you think but ive been trying to do that all night, maybe a little direction?

When you save the file, choose save as all types. Then name it winnt.sif.

Ok, tried that and did not work, did exactly what you said, It saved aa winnt.sif.txt

Open My Computer, go to Tools -> Folder Options then click the View tab and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.

Ok should the file be winnt.sif with an extension of sif or winnt with a sif extension? once I resolve this I am going to burn another cd and test it out.

Thanx again jito463, Should I take offense to the help us help you link or just consider it constructive ribbing? I guess its better than calling me an id***, Ill try to be more forum savvy in the future.
