matthewk
When copying multiple files of large file size via explorer.exe, I sometimes go to processes tab and right click explorer.exe and set priority to High. It usually seems to help, or it may be just me.

matthewk
because i'd changed periorities and system didn't crash...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I've done this for years; I did it under windows 2000 as well. It's never crashed the pc I did it on. I've only used for programs like explorer, winrar, tmpg.
