el_rob3 Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 hi guys, there is some sites unable to open while you log to the internet using certain No.But my conection is ADSL, then can I know the DNS of this sites to log with itor anybody have another idea.....regards
D.Celt Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 I don't fully understand your question. DNS is provided by your ISP, it converts domain names such as www.msfn.org into an IP address. Are you asking if you are only able to browse the internet by IP and not by name?
el_rob3 Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) Ok dear,my problem is when i try to browse some sites its required that i must log into the internet with these own No. (dialup connection).but my connection is ADSL then i can't browse these sites.but i can log into sites which is hosted on my ISP network. are you have another idea to browse these sites.thnx for your reply. D.Celt Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 If you don't need a dialup connection, remove it. That should make your ADSL connection the default.
el_rob3 Posted June 19, 2005 Author Posted June 19, 2005 then i can't use this sites servicesi need that services but when connect with my ADSL the site know me by my IP and i will be rejected.understand me
Aegis Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 So what your saying is that a certain site IP banned you?
el_rob3 Posted June 20, 2005 Author Posted June 20, 2005 this site know from my IP that iam not connect with its own dialup No.for this reason it is banned me !!!i got the message that my IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and this servise is provide to those that connect with the dialup No. xxxxxxxxxx
jroc Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 (edited) I have ADSL...and my IP is Dynamic...meaning it changes often....so you must have a static IP with your ADSL.....if your IP banned..then only thing you can do is use a Proxy....or quit causing trouble and getting Banned.... also certain services are controlled by certian IP ranges from the DNS Server...such as:70.XX.XX.XXX with subnet mask 255.255.255.0...so if your not within that range then your out of luck.
