Marthax Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Hey Guys! When my UA installation installs everything and it's finished, my windows shell is not transformed to the new Xpize theme. If I try shutting down the computer, I get the new "turn of computer with the new layout" but, the taskbar and all windows are not Xpized. All shortcut arrows are also Xpized. What's the problem here? Help. I install Xpize using the UaE file and the /S switch. Thanks in advance!Marthax
Martin L Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royale LiteC:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royaleand install the .msstyles. should work
Marthax Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 I'm sorry, could you explain that one more time ?
Martin L Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royale Liteor (depends on what style you like) C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Royaleyou can find some .msstyles. just double click them and you will have the taskbar ect xpized. Dont know what you can do to fix your uAE cd, you should wait for xpero to reply then.
Marthax Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 But, I don't understand. Why doesn't just /S combined with the installation work? What should i do? Perhaps I've screwed something up with my UA installation? Isn't there anything else I can do besides using a .msstyles? If there is no other way then where can I get this .msstyles file?
XPero Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Again I tell you that with uAE you won't get Themes. You "only" will get icons replaced. Use XPize 3.2 for getting extras, but you cannot use it silently (/S)
Marthax Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 Oh, I'm sorry. I must've misunderstood the first thing you said. thanks XPero for the help and u 2, Martin L
