May 31, 200521 yr Author ok heres the update on the progress.its now working perfectly from the system32 folderand now im going to sleep lolthank you kelsenellenelvianheres hopefully my last few questions for alittle while lol if i can help it.Personally I have some stuff (NOT WPI) copied over from &OEM% folders and I keep my wpi.cmd in the system32 folder and then call it to point to the cd and run WPI.After wpi runs the CMD file I have it deletes itself.can you give me an example of your self delete snipplet ?the resolution dosnt seem to be changing by force,, do you know why ?im not sure but it might be just because its in vmwarethanks again kelsenellenelviannow im off to bed
May 31, 200521 yr for a batch file to delete itself all you need is the following right at the end (no exit necessary):del %0Im preety sure that I have read somewhere about VMWARE having probs with the video changing utility.
June 13, 200521 yr isn't the problem here that in winnt.sif there is no var %cdrom%, so it does not know what to do unless the files are copied to the hard drive. when you put it in system32, that is copied to hard drive so the guirunonce thing will work.
