Lost Soul Posted May 31, 2005 Author Share Posted May 31, 2005 ok heres the update on the progress.its now working perfectly from the system32 folderand now im going to sleep lolthank you kelsenellenelvianheres hopefully my last few questions for alittle while lol if i can help it.Personally I have some stuff (NOT WPI) copied over from &OEM% folders and I keep my wpi.cmd in the system32 folder and then call it to point to the cd and run WPI.After wpi runs the CMD file I have it deletes itself.can you give me an example of your self delete snipplet ?the resolution dosnt seem to be changing by force,, do you know why ?im not sure but it might be just because its in vmwarethanks again kelsenellenelviannow im off to bed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

natmaster Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 isn't the problem here that in winnt.sif there is no var %cdrom%, so it does not know what to do unless the files are copied to the hard drive. when you put it in system32, that is copied to hard drive so the guirunonce thing will work.
