sonu27 Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I have this problem, that my sister always lowers the volume on her account so the changes also affect me. Ad I have to then higher the volume on my account every single time. This has become really annoying. Is there away so I can stop this from happening? Like my sister can keep her volume how she wants and I can have a different volume. Or just preventing access to her volume control so she can't lower the volume. Please help? Thanks!Btw, I am running Windows XP Home SP2.
HyperHacker Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I found this neat little program the other day. You could add a batch file to your startup that uses it to set the volume level to something good.
godan Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 how much does she know about using windows? i ask because you could simply remove the volume icon from the taskbar via her control panel if she is a noob.
sonu27 Posted May 4, 2005 Author Posted May 4, 2005 She is dumb at computers but I'm sure she'll still find out about that. But if I do, do that, it will be removed from ine aswel.
HyperHacker Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 Well you can run it by hitting Win+R and typing sndvol32... which also brings up the idea of renaming the file.
