Hi

i´ve got a question is it possible to boot a Win 2k3 from CD.

I mean i install Win2k3 on harddisk and add some software and after all i create a image of this running system and can boot this.

I know that it was possible with windows 98 but win 2k3 have an other architekture so the same way like it goes by win 98 is not the right.

can anybody help me or give me some instruction wich edits i have to do?

If you mean to burn the "system" os a CD, so you have like Win2k3 LIVE CD is not possible, because it's far bigger than CD ...

You can do this, but I have a Dell server, and the ones that came with it do not format the harddisk for you, so you'll have to do this manually.
