FthrJACK Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 LITE ON burners own! real fast and cheap too! the only thing i dont like about my 40x burner and my 48x is that the cd drawer itself is a bit plasticy. by that i mean the mechanism, it opens too slowly when its new, you have to wear it in a bit.excellent burners, never made a coaster with them
MSNwar Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 yea I think lite-on will be my next burner as I have heard nothing but good news about them.
ThA_FiLeR Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Very nice, my Plextor 12x takes around 5mins to do the job, very satisfied with mine!
Drewdatrip Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Im going to be going with Lite-On for my next DvD-RomThey seem to have a good name in the market and are alot less expensive then the other big name brands..ig Sony and pioneer..wich have both failed on me in the past 3 years=Drew
FthrJACK Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 if you pay £35 for it and it gives you a years useage whats there to moan at ?
Jackpot Posted December 15, 2002 Author Posted December 15, 2002 Your exactly right FthrJACK.... I noticed the tray a little slower than others, but whenit closes you have to buckle up quickly... Hehehe!Problem: Probably because it's a new item but my version of Nero wouldn't work, so i hadto install the version of Nero that came with it and it worked fine.So far I really like this unit and havn't found any probs with it... Jackpot
