Renaming the administrator account

Featured Replies

hello! I remember changing the name of the actual Administrator account (not just creating another with a new name) with a tweaking program (Tweax XP/Tweak UI/ don't remember which 1)!!!!

Anyone know and can tell me?=

The native GUI is the easiest like mentioned above... If for some reason you're still wondering, you can do this from within X-Teq XSetup

maybe you can try playing with the "net user" command. I'm not sure if it is possible

use nLite! Makes the changes in uacd! Or search the topic is in the depths of msfn topics already covered.

The old MS utility cusrmgr.exe will rename the administrator account and allow you to change the password.

You can also use security templates to rename to administrator account using secedit.exe or gpupdate.
