CEoCEo
Need feedbak in other languages than Spanish specially SvenkaI didn't catch that at first glimpse but here's a clarification on the status of Adobe Reader for Swedish users.First of all...Swedish=Svenska Second...The strange thing is that the Swedish patch "Rdlang32.sve" isn't needed any more with the new release of 7.0.0.The file included "Rdlang32.sve" dated 2005-03-14 is already patched. These lines can be safely removed.REM Svenka only? someone?:IF EXIST "%ProgramFiles%\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\Rdlang32.sve" COPY /Y "%ProgramFiles%\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\Rdlang32.sve" Swedish users just have to download the new package if it’s older than 2005-03-24.Keep up the good work Nilfred. Nilfred
Are you sure? This update provides improved security and support for hyperlinks to PDF files in Microsoft Office documents. It also addresses issues associated with the Swedish language version of Reader, form workflows, 2D barcodes, and viewing PDF files that contain 3D content generated in 3D CAD or modeling programs.Imagine lazy Swedish users with dial-up internet conection: Those extra lines may not hurt anyone. Thanks for the clarification anyway. CEoCEo
You are absolutely correct about the patch. I only tested it with the new Swedish release. After a clean install of the old Swedish package of 7.0.0 the file “RdLang32.SVE” is being patched with 7.0.1 update. Why is Adobe keeping the download of the single file “RdLang32.SVE” when the patch addresses a few more fixes?Probably because it was a really nasty bug when you can’t even type a single “v”.I have recently downloaded both Swedish 7.0.0 Full & Basic versions from http://www.adobe.com and both of them have now updated “RdLang32.SVE”.Tested and fully working…

Tomcat76
The program name as displayed in Add/Remove Programs is hard coded in several places in the registry. Some may be redundant but I don't know which. Maybe someone else can figure that out.HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\68AB67CA7DA73401B7447A0000000000"ProductName"="Adobe Reader 7.0.2 - Nederlands""Version"=dword:07000002HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\68AB67CA7DA73401B7447A0000000000"ProductName"="Adobe Reader 7.0.2 - Nederlands""Version"=dword:07000002HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\68AB67CA7DA73401B7447A0000000000\InstallProperties"DisplayName"="Adobe Reader 7.0.2 - Nederlands""DisplayVersion"="7.0.2""Version"=dword:07000002HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1043-7B44-A70000000000}"DisplayName"="Adobe Reader 7.0.2 - Nederlands""DisplayVersion"="7.0.2""Version"=dword:07000002The parts in red should be altered according to your region. Those strings in places other than Uninstall have that code inverted; so if "1043" is the code for your region, it's displayed as "1043" in the Uninstall string but as "3401" in all others. I will update the first post with a link to the new topic.Remember that this is for the english language version - as Tomcat76 says - the key may vary from language to language. Why you bother? Uninstall entries did never work and is language dependant. Better to remove the entries than remame them.;--- Critically Needed Tweaks -Please remember to read all the posts on the thread before asking questions on this.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I refuse to support that kind of intended audience.
