Telenut
I have the following settings in winnt.sif[RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup = 1 Language = 0813 SystemLocale = 00000813 UserLocale = 00000813 InputLocale = 0813:00000813,0413:00000413Al the other settings are correct in the final result, exept those.(I can force it to use other settings by deleting al the other languages, but that is not the preffered way off course)If there is an alternative (change the settings after setup with a reg file), Ok, as long as it works :-)
Vadikan
Sure, just use this method http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;289125
Telenut
Found the sollution on the microsoft website:You can customize the [RegionalSettings] section of your answer file to specify the regional and language options listed in Table 2.9To use this section of your answer file, you must add, as a minimum, the /copysource:lang parameter to Winnt32.exe or the /rx:lang parameter to Winnt.exe.edit: sollution does not work
Vadikan
edit: sollution does not workWhich one? Mine or yours?
iwod
@VAD: Sorry but what is the difference between your soloution and his? ( when you both are referring to the same article )Anyway i have the same problem with regional Setting.><
Telenut
the /rx:lang works, so windows does not ask for the CD anymore. But the regionalsettings in winnt.sif are still ignoredI would like to integrate the settings in the winnt.sif file, not with a 'patch' after the installation. (not sure if this patch works completely, still have to test that)
Vadikan
@iwod: I don't know what article he's referring to. I don't see any links in the post. @Telenut: I would like to integrate the settings in the winnt.sif file, not with a 'patch' after the installationThis is not quite the same as you stated previously (change the settings after setup with a reg file), Ok, as long as it works :-)My suggestion was relevant to the first post, but now is obsolete. From what I've seen, sometimes [RegionalSettings] just don't stick or don't apply from winnt.sif. Even with basic setups they don't work in some cases. That's why the workaround is to apply them at the firtst logon per KB289125. I sincerely wish you luck with making winnt.sif to work.
Telenut
When I manage to get it working with a patch, I'm happy. But when I manage to get it working without one, that would be great :-) (thx for the help so far)Still have to check if it works with the patch... Time is a problem here :s

"From that very article is this line:Language - This setting specifies the language that is installed. If this setting is specified, the SystemLocale, InputLocale, and UserLocale settings are ignored. So take out the Language= line...?Me, I barely speak proper english - and I grew up here! Engrish ok by me.So waddah I know?
