Xpredit Version 1.00

Recommended Posts

XPredit v 1.0

I've made the program to simplify the registry settings process and give the user an option to apply changes over GUI.

How to use it:

-Backup your Registry.

-Use Regshot to monitor your Registry changes (Optional).

-Check any option.

-Any unchecked option will reset to default its registry value.

Download XPredit V1.0

Ok guys i think i've fixed the problem now....

The GUI was too big to fit on the screen...thats why it looked like the first pic....

I've uploaded now a 1024x768 compatible version.

Also i'm building a new version that will include some new helpful registry changes.

Please dowload it from the location above....

Thanks a lot for your reports....

borbomotsalo,

I hope you do not mind me doing this.

I opened your file in resource tuner and made a few changes.

On my screen this one looks fine.

Maybe some others can confirm this to be true for them as well.

If you would like for me to remove this just say so.

I've just opened your latest version and everything displays correctly (1240x1024, 144DPI).

-Any unchecked option will reset to default its registry value.

I personally would prefer that any unchecked option will be left alone (whatever it is set at) rather than reset to default.

When used in an unattended installation, default reg values are there anyway so no further action is needed.

When used in Windows as a standalone tweaking program, it would be much easier if it only changes the items checked; otherwise I would have to remember what has already been changed the next time I use it to keep those settings.

And what is the Enable Prefetcher value in "Speed up Prefetcher"?

One more suggestion: it'd be nice to have the program name on the window title.
