iqbal Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I am facing problem with the intel motherboard G8050GB, its restarts every 10 - 15 minutes. We change the SMPS twice, CPU fan in doubt of overheating. In bois Temperture meter shows "NORMAL" and tested with the different memories different CPU and UPDATE LATEST BIOS same results. NOTE : THIS PROBLEM STARTS AFTER APPROXIMATE IN 3RD YEAR NOT FROM THE BEGINING.Anybody can help me to slove this problem. Thanks
puntoMX Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Looks like you have to order a new motherboard . It could be lots of things, for example defect SMD components, defect PCB (broken lines) or most likely some defect capacitors...Don’t start to ask me how things get defect, they just do, nothing is for ever .
Drewdatrip Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Id have to agree with Mx. Sounds like the mobo has gone bad.If its still under warrenty however you may want to look into a replacement online somwhere.|Drew|
iqbal Posted March 8, 2005 Author Posted March 8, 2005 Thanks Mr. PuntoMX and Mr. Drew for Valuable advice. I am also suspecting the motherboard damage, but in my company we have approximate 20 systems with this type of motherboard, out of 20,this problem in 3 systems.
puntoMX Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Then you have to order 3 .So, it isn’t bad PCB... look at the capacitors and see if you can see any thing strange...Did you change the power supplies? It’s the only thing I could think of. Do you use voltage regulators to stabilize power from the power grid?Swap the motherboard with one of a good system to see if it’s the motherboard (or you already did?)
