the nvidia 6800 is 64-bit

does this mean that i would need a 64-bit processor?

I wish I had 64bit CPU´s in combination with my 6800 cards :P.

But no, you don’t need a 64 bit CPU to use a 6800. Why you ask that? Making plans to by a 6800 and not a 6600? Difference between them is 128bit MEM-interface for the 6600 and 256bit MEM-interface for the 6800, but the 6600GT works with faster RAM so there will be almost no difference in performance between them ;)
