arneil
Hiever since i built my home network more than a year ago there has always been a problem with my brother's pc been able to use the internet, i've tried different NICs and bought new cables and nothing seems to work. I was think perhaps with the cable going through a wall(dunno whats in the wall meanin cables etc) TV, Hi-Fi, PS2 and other electronic appliences close to his pc and therefor being close to the cable maybe hes getting interference and maybe an STP cable could possibly work better.anyone got any solutions?thanksDan

bart of borg
I doubt anything in the walls will be your problem. Are you using your computer as a gateway or do you have a router?
