lionhrt
If you might answer a question. Can WPI be used so that you can install a collection of games?Small arcade games for example. They have all been packaged into single exe's with no serial/activation input requred by the enduser.I want to catagorize them into groups such as card/puzzle/action/sims/etc.Then allow the end user to select the ones they wish to install.Any assistance in how to modify the scripts so that this is possible would be appreciated.Thank you in advance, hoping you can help.Lionheart
Swimming_Bird
how do you run/install these. If you just run the exe then all you have to do is copy them to the HDD
lionhrt
I realize thats an easy way of doing it. It just I created these packages for my parents and I thought it would be easier to group them together and have them to be able to check only on the ones they want to install. I have 3 CD's all together with over 250+ games. So I would like to make three different volumes for them. That way they dont have to install all of them. Kelsenellenelvian
Just make a crapload of 7zip or Winrar sfx files that point to where you want the individual game to go and have WPI configured for each individual file. Would be easy to do just time consuming.
Swimming_Bird
if you have enough space for them on your UA CD/DVD you can just use robocopy to copy them over or you can make an SFX for each one and extract it to the propper dir. if you have shortcut.exe in your $OEM$\$$\System32 dir you can use that to make shortcuts wherever you want as well.Robocopy FAQ
