Looking For Handheld Or Cellphone

Hi there

i want a small device that can

• browse the internet
  
• will allow me to write on the screen, or use MS one note or something, i mainly want this bc i want to take notes in the class..
  
• use msn
  
• check email
  
• send sms
  
• call ppl
  
• built-in camera at least 1megapixel
  
• bluetooth
  
• external memory support
  

i couldn't decide what i should get, should i get a cell phone that has these functions? if so are they good, i've never used one..

or should i get a palm/visor/etc, do those support a sim card?, do they have camera?

With the exception of writing on the screen, the Motorola mpx220 will do everything you are looking for.

It does have a voice recorder you could use for notes instead of penning them.

I love my MPx220. The MPx300 is about $800-$1000 so it's a bit pricey.

No camera, but a Blackberry 7100 will do most everything else. I've got a 6510 myself (7520 on the way) and love it.

handhelds are all but dead a cell phone option is the way to go for sure, and i have to agree that motorola knows how to make a good phone.

its has 1.3mp camera, better then pda2k,

also smaller

pda2k has wireless but i dunno if i'd use it that much, it'd be nice if jam had it too.

also jam is a little heavier then pda2k

pda2k has a built-in keyboard whereas jam has virtual, i dunno if the virtual one is easy to use, they didn't let me open and test it

I had almost the same requirements as you.....

I suggest go for an industry standard - Symbian OS on Nokia phones - its cheaper as well - take a look

my sister has 7610, its slow for me, cheaper indeed.

i don't want 6600, everyone has it and its considered as old..

i'll wait for 6680 i think.. its the best looking one..

i know u bought 3230 but its not suitable for me..

well my sisters experience with 7610, it broke down and i took it to the shop to get it repaired, 1 week later (yesterday) we got it back, the guy said they installed a new version software on it and said the old one was the problem,

we got back home, my sister tried creating a new folder it won't create, i told her to restart the phone, and it died, it says startup problem take it to the shop or something like that..

yes it looks pretty awesome but it died again.

my 7210's vibrating thing died last month, (yes its an old phone..)

i dunno i like nokia bc of ease of use but has minor problems...

i dunno its confusing

I am thinking of getting the Pda2k bcoz of all its features,I thought abt Jam but when I saw that it lacks in some of good ram and wireless then I thought that u need wireless for internet so go for PDA2K.

i think i'll get the nokia 6680 for now, maybe later when this imate thing gets better... or when i decide to spend that much money on some features of the phone...

It was written that it will b available for sale from the beginning of june.It has been released in U.A.E so it means it could arrive in my country quickly.
