Wor
Why takes it so long time for Outlook express 6 to send and recieve messages in xp? When i had Win2k and i also used Outlook express 6 It didn't take more than 1 sek if there were like 4 mails, now it takes 20 sek even if there are no mails! What's wrong? Rick
Has your connection type changed? OE6 d/l's the same as always for me but one prob. that I did run across is that Yahoo mail tends to never do right when I send/recieve, so I started using my ISP's email address and all was solved. That is on Yahoo's side though.Rick:cool:

Rick
Outlook must be open in order for it to check mail. You just click on the minimize button and leave it going in the background. That is what I have been doing since I can remember.Rick
