i need to download msn messenger 6.2 (msnmsgr.msi)

but i don't know where i could get it

you can extract the msi from setupdl.exe with ex. winrar

please read the forum rules at my signature, specially the section about posting the same thing under multiple topics.

as said extract the msi from the setup file using winrar and use the /qb switch.

you did not read the msfn guide, did u?

You can download MSN Messenger 6.2 from here.

Once you have installed it go to this directory.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MSN Messenger 6.2.0137

Or something near that.
