January 21, 200521 yr how come wpi can't find the other cd rom i have installed on my system? if i want too make a posting install that has 3 cd or 2 cd i would like too find the other cd rom i have isntalled. i have 1 cd for the windows xp installation and cd 2 for the post install.
January 21, 200521 yr Add in a second line to wpi.cmd just like the first only have it look for a file that is only on the second disk. Plus remember you would have to change the config file to recognize the second drive for the installs. I am not sure what variables you would use but you should be able to figure it out .
January 21, 200521 yr Author isn't there any way for it too automaticlly find the drive that has the post-install cd 1? so that if i have the installation disk windows xp in d drive it beable to go striagh on too the next cd rom drive?
January 21, 200521 yr put the wpi.cmd file in the xp cd call it from run once and it should find and start wpi.hta on the second disk just tell the command file to look for something like "WPI.hta" instead of win5i. It should be that simple to split up!
