puntoMX Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 looks like it´s better to format your system and restart over again, you have to much problems with your system. I´t´s the best way... Also buy a sound card so you don´t have problems using media player or to play streams.Good luck.
matrix0978 Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 Yeah i think im going to do that. This is p***ing me off with all these problems!
puntoMX Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 But first, we need to download the good drivers for your motherboard... so please give me the info, brand and type, so I can help you out with it...
matrix0978 Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 AMD Athlon XP 2200+Thats the best i can get...dont say anything else
puntoMX Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Nice CPU, but I was asking about the motherboard brand and partnumber. It´s good to learn first about your hardware before downloading drivers from the internet. If you don´t know it, then open your box and look @ the big "card" where all other cards are plugged in; that´s your motherboard. Most of the time there is a brand name and partnumber printed some were in bigger caracters.look for that info, I like to help you out so you can get the best out of your machine .
D.Celt Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Pressing ALT+space should bring up a small menu with the maximize option, does that work?
soldier1st Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 install xp pro+sp1home =crapalways install youur driver updates and mobo drivers then and directx windows updates then install programs.
matrix0978 Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 I might do it but..... No sure if i want to pay for it!
puntoMX Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Okay, home is NOT CRAP, and PRO doesn´t give you any thing more that you will use as a normal user.If you want to have the latest version, then download SP2, slipstream it (look @ the forums here how too) and burn a new CD (I hope you have a CD burner). Else install Windows again, but format the whole drive before, then install SP2 first (And no, SP2 isn´t bad).Don´t trow away 140 US$ for an other version op a OS you already have.
