my brothers computer is only 2 months old. after he activated windows. he put the serial sticker on the side of the computer. well somehow its missing. how can i find the number that was used to install windows. i know its in the register.

Please search the forums before asking a question like this.

you may want to call the manufacturer you bought this computer from. more than likely the key you found is a corporate oem key that was used on thousands of computers. the serial key on your computer is there if you need to reinstall.
