Registry Monitor Suggestion Needed

I'm finding that I'm now looking for the little tweaks to add to the registry (or modify).

What is the best proram to take a snapshot of the registry, make a change (for example, set the speaker icon by the clock to Always Show), then compare the two to find out where this setting is so I can export it and add it to my Unattended Install.

RegSnap is a load of junk! Too big, too complex interface, and they expect you to pay for it! And it does not offer anything more than RegShot which is freeware. Also, regshot is easier to use and quicker and can be directly run (unlike regsnap which needs a setup).

I agree. RegShot is small and fast. It's my best friend when it comes to finding changed registry entries.

Cool... regsnap was the 1st reg monitor i downloaded and been using ever since. thanks for passing along a much smaller, FREE'er program!
