Half life 2 Image

Hi

I have the retail version of Half Life 2 I am trying to make a image useing Magic ISO

so i can mount it useing Daemon tools there fore not haveing to use my DVD Disc

but Magic ISO wont read the disc

anybody got any ideas on how to do this

PS this is not to copy the disc just to make a mountable image as my BF1942 disc 2 broke while in cd player EA GAmes wont £7 to replace the disc as i have a image on a second drive i can still play it

The latest updates don't require you to have the dvd in the drive when playing.
