prathapml Posted January 10, 2005 Share Posted January 10, 2005 The dial-up tray icon you see, is for a temporary connection.Most DSL/cable is through permanent network cards (though actual connection may be temporary) - so you will only see the network interface tray icon there (can be enabled from "Network Neighbourhood" if its not already there).
