Warren Peace
Just stumbled upon a file that had my QT Registration information in it%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QuickTime\QuickTime.qtpthis file changed after I unchecked the option to show the systray icon also, so in theory I think it should accomplish both of the tasks you were inquiring about simply by copying this file back to the appropriate directory after a re-install.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tried that idea by copying my .qtp file into the aforementioned directory and this did not work... not only is QT not registered like I was hoping, but I still got the tray icon.
