Hi folks

I can't seem to insert an image in my post. I browse to it alright, but if my image is on my desktop, name "ipaddress.gif" after I browse to it, what should I put in the drop down IMG box as the "complete URL for image."

TIA

mac

you cant display a picture from you desktop online unless you have stored it on a webserver. the webserver will provide you a url, this url can be used between the img tags :)

/http://www.imagehosting.us/ is a good site to upload your pictures for free :)

good luck

if u mean on the forum.. try changing the picture to .jpg ?

You NEED to have a WEBSERVER setup, such as Apache or IIS in order for this to work properly... Then you will need a domain name instead of using your IP address... Free ones are available from http://www.dyndns.org and http://www.no-ip.com .
