How can I turn on and off weather or not my logongui displays all the local user accounts or not?

I have like 10 accounts on my xp box but dont want all 10 displayed as valid users on the fancy logongui that xp has?

thanks,

MrChris

Control Panel --> Users --> change the way users log on/off --> clear the "use the welcome screen" option..

what I mean is I want to keep the fancy logonui but dont want all the accounts to be desplayed. kinda like when i first install xp. i only see the account i create i dont see the administrator.

mrchris

do u mean that u have like 10 accounts and u only want for expample account1, account2, account4, account7, account9, and account10 to show-something like that?

instead of having all of them so that ur logon scren looks like crap?

try here in regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

What MCT told it's only true for [bold]Special Accounts[\bold].

For example if u want to enable or disable the appereance of the Administrator account in the logonui.

As for the other accounts i don't know where u can enable or disable their appereance in the logonui
