WPI + Removing Outlook Express

Is there a method where i can remove Outlook Express from RunonceEX or WPI

I want to give the option to remove it.

Is there some reason you don't want to remove it using something like nLite?

AFAIK there is no way within Windows to remove OE itself, only its "Visible entry points."

Sorry, but as of now nLite is the only way i know to get rid of some of the things Microsoft just doesn't seem to want to let you uninstall, like OE and WMP.

If I find out anything new, I will be sure to post it.

if u go to add/remove programs there is an option to remove o.e. and windows media player.

I know of a way to remove ACCESS to outlook express, but I don't see an INF for outlook express installation

There is always a possibility to remove OE by making a modification to these two files of your XPCD source files but you need to do it before installing XP.

The option in add/remove programs will only remove the shortcuts to OE, there's no way to uninstall it after Windows was installed.

Never say never!....

There are ways, but mostly "non-standard, unsupported" ways. Most of them have to do with substituting key registry entries, disabling system-file-protection, and modifying key INF files. Not easy but it can be done.
