how do i change hard drive icons (just that)

Recommended Posts

I tried hacking the shell32.dll, but I can't copy the hacked dll to the system32 folder. I tried using the INUSE.EXE tool from Microsoft, but it still didn't work. So I just restarted to DOS and copied the file. But unfortunately, it the icons are still the same after restarting. Am I missing something here?

But hey, the registry works, but I still prefer hacking the dll.

a very interesting thread, would like to know more about that run box, can you point me in the right direction

Same here. :D
