Matt342 Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Hello,Im new to this forum and WinPE. Where could I get WinPE from. Thanks,Matt
Incroyable HULK Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Please read the Sticky at the top of this forum...2 ways:1- You have a Volume Licence Agreement with Microsoft and they send you automatically the CD2- You are an OEM builder and you get a windows PE CD inside a 3-pack OEM Windows XP
prathapml Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Downloading WinPE would be illegal. And forum rules say warez is out of bounds. Hoping the below info would help, atleast. In the right path, it seems you need to buy an OEM "pack of three" of Windows XP Pro to get a WinPE add-on CD. Its not available for purchase separately either. (correct me if this is wrong)Yep, MS has placed that control deliberately - because WinPE is basically what its name says (windows pre-installation environment) and only those who buy multiple copies of the newest desktop OS would need ways to have an easy install.Detailed MS page
