MCT
hi u can do this easily, download CDImageGUI (about 600KB)choose the options -b -j1 -m -owhen choosing the -b point the dialog to xpboot.img (found with cdimage from unattended.msfn.org) optimizing the ISO makes it so it doesnt take extra space for duplicate files
htc
@bmnforgot the tips of MCT, he made just a joke(I dont know how much % of his over 2500 posts are jokes). You need to follow the official guide of this forum: flyakite's guide at:http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/Be sure read the tips of prathapml first:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=25128
bmn
thanks for ur replies@MCTthanks for those switches "-b -j1 -m -o". u said "when choosing the -b point the dialog to xpboot.img (found with cdimage from unattended.msfn.org)"but there r two diff images for xp pro and home.which one i have to choose if i want to combine them.and problem in this guide is (http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/).its abt xpsp1 but not sp2.and all downloads r for sp1 only.i think this guide needs some updating
faf4life
When combining two (or more) OSes, you need some way to select which OS you want to boot, so you need a menu... Search for BCDW, Easyboot or CDSHELL.

bmn
ref:-http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/unattended.htmpls explain me this point-----------------------------------------------------------------Now we need to edit setupldr.bin in the PRO2 folder so that all references to PRO1 now point to PRO2, and hex-edit PRO2.DAT so that it points to PRO2 as well.If you want the first boot option to be a regular installation and the second option to be an unattended installation, add your winnt.sif file to the PRO2 folder.--------------------------------------------------------------------it is not clear.how can i point those references? and do i have to delete winnt.sif from PRO1 and place it in only PRO2help pls
MCT
PRO1 = XP Unattended Basic (As an example)PRO2 = XP Unattended + programs (As an Example)LEAVE EVERYTHING IN PRO1 THE WAY IT IS (aslong as its setup correctly )copy PRO1 paste it in same directory, u should get "Copy Of PRO1" as the folder name, rename it PRO2now inside setupldr search & replace ALL Instances of PRO1 with PRO2(Same way as u did for i386 & PRO1) (Using a hex editor im assuming u know how 2 do this since u completed the first step in making pro1)& do the same with PRO2.dat
bmn
like this?and what abt winnt.sif of main i386 folder
htc
@MCTYour first answer for the question "how to combining my 2 unattended OS ISO files on one dvd" are the ridiculous suggestion" -b -j1 -m -o".One should point out that there is no way just "load"(i.e. via cdshell etc.) one of the iso files to get them work, and instead, the install files of diff. os must be placed in dff. setup folders.... so it is best tiom to read the official guides....I've said your answer was just a joke, it was my politeness. If you still don't understand, I'll change it : your answer was stupid.(but I do not really hope so)
