MCT Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 IMO, if i wanted 1, i would get YzDock, its small & easy
prathapml Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 IMO, I *DID* want a Mac OSX style bar, and got Object Bar - its the best and least buggy (just my personal opinion, as I already said).
johny128 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 i got a problem, i changed my desktop to something like this http://forum.pctuning.cz/gallery/albums/us...llpaper%7E1.JPG but sometimes i need that panel next to clock in windows, that in a right down corner...what program to use to get it there?because the whole tooblar would damage that nice desktop
gamehead200 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 I like ObjectDock, however I'm starting to have doubts about it... It uses up a little too much RAM and already started to crash on me...
Zxian Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Hi there,My personal favorite GUI extension is AveDesk. It's got great plugins and lets you have everything on your desktop.I've always found a dock AND taskbar to simply clash. Either one or the other, but not both.AveDesk also has the nice extension called SysStats, which lets you put system meters on your desktop, as well as callendars, clocks, etc etc (almost anything you want).Version 1.2 is due out soon! Lots of bug fixes and new features. Probably the biggest feature is ShowCase. By pressing a hotkey (you can assign it), it will fade all your current work and bring the desklets (icons) to the foreground. There you can click them and they'll open. Either hit the hotkey or click on anywhere away from a desklet to return to normal work.Check it out here.Cheers!EDIT: I forgot to mention... I've got 8 icons (shortcuts) and a calendar up right now, and it uses a mere 2660K of RAM.
