Guest Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 Alright...I open programs, and get this message (below) and I wanna fix this problem. I don't want a website, I have been searching, I want someone who has, and knows how to fix this problem.System Error &H8007007E (-214724770). The specified module cannot be found.
misskellibad1 Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 Why don't you just reformat?ha, just kidding Ge
sedative Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 download the vb runtime files and reinstall them. you don't necessarily have to be running a program which uses them, they're just borked and they'll screw up your entire system. hope it works
Guest Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 Lol, formatting fixes it...but I ain't formatting again for a while..Ok...now...I re-installed VB Runtime files, 6, 5, 4...and none of them fix it..
zipp51 Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 How about Run,then type sfc /scannow,it will replace any protected files.Worth a try?
Aaron Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 zipp, have you tried SFC with the corporate edition? Mine just keeps asking for the CD, even though its in there.
zipp51 Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 Yes,I just recently had a problem with WMP.It would not launch and I ran the sfc command and all was well.It doesn't ask for anything it just says that it will replace xp protected files and then I click ok.
Guest Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 Mine just keeps asking for the CD, even though its in there.Aaron, thats because you have to label your XP cd, example: xpro_enOr whatever... Zipp...I am trying sfc /scan now....workin....but goin hella slow...!!
