Default Resolution not working please help

this is what I use in winnt.sif but when I install the resolution is still 640x480

    BitsPerPel=16
    Xresolution=1024
    YResolution=768

most likely cause is the drivers are not installing...

if they are, there is a program on the unattended website to force the resolution change.

is it not suppose to change resolution on vmware?

it will change resolution if you do it manually through Control Panel. or force it with the program. Or you include the drivers for VMWare
