Synapse Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Your trick needs no special program to unlock that folder.Simply, anyone can go to a DOS prompt and type ren tech* data and they're done. nope, i tried this well.. on windows xp that is.. and it came back withThe synax of the command is incorrectI know my DOS, so i know i did the command correctly but i believe when the asterik (*) is put there, it looks for files not folders.@leeleeleeleelooks very promising but you'll still see the folder in dos. but just be smart and don't put the folder right off the C drive and you'll be fine against 95% of the people.

Gotta try and remove that status bar option.
