rbianco Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Hello all! There a serious problem in the italian translation: when using WIHU also for creating users, there are some system folders in %USERPROFILE% which keep the english name instead of adapting to the italian WinXP folder names. Here they are:"Start menu" must be translated into "Menu avvio""My pictures" must be translated into "Immagini""My music" must be translated into "Musica""My videos" must be translated into "Video""Nethood" must be translated into "Risorse di rete""Templates" must be translated into "Modelli""Recent" must be translated into "Documenti recenti""Printhood" must be translated into "Risorse di stampa"Not doing these translations results in a mess in %USERPROFILE%, where italian folder names co-exist with english names. This happens with every user created with WIHU.
BenjaminKalytta Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Hi, thanks rbianco for this hint.I can't reach the translater by mail, so I changed that what you mentioned. But may be there re some other strings that need to be translated.Do you have an resource editor? If yes, would be nice if you could open WIHU.EXE and search in String Table and Dialogs for untranslated strings.Benjamin Kalytta
rbianco Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Hi Benjamin.I'd prefer to wait for our official translator, Luca, and listen to what he wants to do. Maybe he already fixed this issue.Anyway - I only have Resource Hacker v3.4.0.79, is that ok for this job? Now i'll try: i'll download latest italian build from your website, and try with it.
Kleidemos Posted November 14, 2004 Author Posted November 14, 2004 i'm fixing the problem.......don't warry Luca
Kleidemos Posted November 14, 2004 Author Posted November 14, 2004 i'm improving the translation......* THIS IS ITALIAN TEXT *P.s: rbianco .........appena finito ti do una beta del translate e mi dici, ok?
BenjaminKalytta Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Hi, don't forget to send me your translated version Benjamin
