Im doing my pal a favour and is about to fix him a Windows XP (and windows 2000) unattended installation CD. Now, this ill be used at a vast number of computers and with a large number of different chipsets.

Is there anything that says I can't just add all chipsetdrivers I find from Intel into my drivers folder?

I want this CD to be as "universal" as possible.

What do you PROs think?

I think this is possible.

Windows automatically installs the right driver and skips the other unneeded drivers.

As long as you enter the correct paths into your winnt.sif after the OemPnPDriversPath= line.

Yes it is I made a disk that includes chipset drivers for Nvidia,

Intel and Via. Just do as Bucketbuster says.

You can add as many drivers as you want for several machines with different hardware specs. There is no risk of installing wrong drivers on a specific machine because Windows XP detects the best driver match for the hardware.
