No problem. You all know that DVI is a digital out for flat panel monitors etc. And just for information purposes, for about $10 US, you can buy a small converter that will allow you to run a normal monitor off the DVI output. Some may find that handy.

yeah i got one with the Ti440 and the ati 8500.

the normal VGA connection to a monitor involves changing the signal from digital to analogue then back to digital once it reaches the monitor. which is stupid.

using DVI its just digital.

I didn't receive one with mine. I did, however, purchase the adapter which I am not using but is nice to have. I run dual monitors on 2 video cards. 1 AGP Radeon with VGA and DVI out (19' monitor)and 1 PCI GeForce2 (17' monitor).

When I had my ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon 7500, it came with a converter...

The card itself has DVI so I have to use a DVI to Regular Monitor adapter to use it..

My flat panel monitor doesn't use DVI though... :)
